Free Bible reading plans for the annual Torah cycle are now available from HaDavar Ministries as a pdf document. They can be printed out and either folded in half, or printed double sided and cut in half. This new reading plan follows the traditional Jewish custom of reading a portion of the Pentateuch each week. Some weeks are skipped for when other Scriptures are read on holidays, and some weeks have double readings. The reader has the option of following along according to the Jewish calendar or reading at their own pace. For many Christians, their knowledge of the Torah is very limited, and reading the whole Bible through in one year is too daunting of a task. For this reason, we are releasing multiple Bible reading plans, allowing the reader to focus on specific sections of Scripture to systematically read. Additional plans will be released in the coming months for other divisions of scripture. To be notified of new releases, be sure to sign up for the HaDavar mailing list. Some time ago I had the opportunity to visit the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial, which was erected to remember all those affected by the April 1995 terrorist attack there. It was an incredibly moving experience that I'd recommend to anyone who hasn't been there yet. But there was one room in the museum that I shall never forget.
